Physical Therapy for Cervical Spinal Stenosis
My mother complained of her degenerating physique. She had a mild pain in the neck, a numbness spread throughout her shoulders, arms and legs, her hands no longer obeyed her commands and her gait too was no longer stately. She had a burning tingling sensation for company the whole day. She refused to budge from home even to visit the doctor. She was petrified of modern medics who recommended surgery for cervical spinal stenosis. It needed a lot of coaxing before she subjected herself to non-surgical treatment. A few physical therapy exercises to strengthen, stabilize, build endurance and flexibility worked like magic and restored her confidence in modern non-surgical treatment.
