Raising Kids is a Jungle
Being a stay at home mom is hard work. Unlike most jobs, you are never really off call or through with work. It’s also very emotionally draining. I like to take weekend get aways with my husband every few months just to get a break. We get one of those hotels with modern soaking tubs and spend the whole weekend hanging out, watching movies and eating in restaurants. We don’t soaking tubs at home, but only have compact bathtubs in our small bathroom, so it’s great to get to really kick back and relax. I do miss my kids…a little. By the time I come home, I refreshed and ready to jump back into the jungle.
