Ranking of Business Schools and Top Business Schools in UK
I am right now in the middle of the process of deciding where I will study my new business graduate program. At the beginning I thought, ok, let’s just pick one university that you find cool or that you feel comfortable because is close to your place, or because a friend told me nice words about it; or just because of economic reasons: the fee is affordable. But after a while I realized that that sort of approach was the wrong one. I said to myself; I will invest a lot of time and money on this, there will be a big cost of opportunity, and I want the experience to be worthwhile, or put it in financial terms, profitable. As I read somewhere, the package that you will take with you from your graduate program is a suitcase that you will carry for the rest of your life.
I want that suitcase to be as solid as possible. So I think now that spending some extra time and effort looking for a good ranking of business schools makes a lot of sense. My first option would be to study abroad, more specifically in Europe, and if possible, in the UK. I already have a pretty good sense about the top business schools in uk, and I have to say that I like them in general. I also think the uk is a great place to spend a year or two, specially if you have the chance to go to London; you certainly find there a real multicultural society, with people from all over the globe, and an extremely open minded environment. Another option, for me at least, would be France. I like all the glamour that brings, and the intensity of the French people. I also know that there are very good business schools in france, and that’s fantastic!.
